Douzable, Leger (DT)
The Tennessee Titans have signed veteran defensive end Leger Douzable to bolster a position that may lose three players to free agency. The Titans announced the move on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not released.
Douzable played the last two years with the Jacksonville Jaguars, seeing action in 31 games and making 88 tackles, one sack and nine tackles for loss. Last season he started six games. Titans General Manager Ruston Webster says Douzable can play both end and tackle, making him valuable in the team's defensive scheme.

Wimbley, Kamerion (DE)
The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with defensive end Kamerion Wimbley on a multi-year deal, wasting little time after being rejected by Peyton Manning. Terms of Tuesday's deal were not announced.
General manager Ruston Webster said in a statement he liked Wimbley coming out of Florida State as a defensive end in a 4-3 defense, a role Wimbley will play for the Titans. The 6-foot-4 Wimbley has 42.5 career sacks. The 13th pick overall in 2006 had 11 sacks as a rookie in Cleveland. He had 16 sacks in 32 games as a linebacker in Oakland the past two seasons before being released last week.

Wimbley, Kamerion (DE)
The Oakland Raiders have told linebacker Kamerion Wimbley they will release him one year into a $48 million, five-year deal. Agent Joe Linta said in an email Friday that he was unable to work out a new contract with general manager Reggie McKenzie so the Raiders decided to cut Wimbley instead.
Oakland gave Wimbley the big contract last summer. He got paid $5 million in 2011 and is still guaranteed an additional $6.5 million from the Raiders. The team would have been on the hook for $4.5 million more in 2012 if Wimbley was on the roster Saturday, as well as an additional $13 million in guaranteed money for the rest of the deal. Wimbley had seven sacks, 21.5 quarterback knockdowns and 9.5 hurries last season, according to STATS LLC.

Hutchinson, Steve (G)
The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with All-Pro guard Steve Hutchinson on a multi-year contract. Terms of the deal were not released. Titans coach Mike Munchak said in a statement he always has liked Hutchinson and respected how he plays. Munchak says he still sees Hutchinson playing at a high level in his 11th season.
Hutchinson visited with the Titans on Tuesday, and he also visited Seattle where he started his career before reaching a deal with Tennessee on Thursday. The 6-foot-5 Hutchinson is a five-time All Pro with seven Pro Bowls. He spent the past six seasons with Minnesota before being released Saturday. A first-round pick out of Michigan in 2001, Hutchinson has blocked for Shaun Alexander in Seattle and also Adrian Peterson in Minnesota.
