New Orleans Saints (13-3-0)
Running backs losing their first-round luster
Last April, Alabama's Mark Ingram was the only running back taken in the first round, at pick No. 28. What's the reason for that, and will it happen again this year?

Brees, Drew (QB)
Brees' record-setting season has earned the New Orleans quarterback the 2011 Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year award.
Brees shattered Dan Marino's 27-year-old mark by passing for 5,476 yards, and his 468 completions broke Peyton Manning's 2010 record of 450. Brees finished the season completing 71.6 percent of his passes, breaking his own 2009 NFL record (70.6). He also surpassed 300 yards passing for seven straight games and 13 times during the season, both beating league marks he already held.

Brees, Drew (QB)
Brees says he would be "beyond stunned" if he and the New Orleans Saints don't come to an agreement on a contract extension during this offseason, echoing comments by coach Sean Payton this week.
Brees says his focus is keeping the team together. He doesn't believe his next deal will prevent the Saints from bidding for some other key members of their record-setting offense who will become free agents. In 2011, Brees set NFL single-season records with 468 completions, 5,476 yards passing and a completion percentage of 71.2 in a stunning display of aerial prowess.

Ivory, Christopher (RB)
Ivory carried nine times for 23 yards in Saturday's 36-32 postseason loss at San Francisco.
The Saints don't emphasize the run game and it's understandable when you have a superstar like Drew Brees as the signal-caller.

Sproles, Darren (RB)
Sproles caught 15 passes for 119 yards and one TD in Saturday's 36-32 postseason loss at San Francisco.
Sproles showcased his dual-threat ability with only three carries for three yards on the ground, however. He made up for it through the air by hooking up with Drew Brees.

Colston, Marques (WR)
Colston caught nine passes for 136 yards and one TD in Saturday's 36-32 postseason loss at San Francisco.
Colston could be a top-20 fantasy pick or higher in the 2012 draft so fantasy players should be poised to nab him early and reap some big rewards.
