Richardson, Jay (DE)
The Jets signed Richardson, a free agent.
Richardson was a fifth-round pick of Oakland in 2007, and played three seasons with the Raiders. He signed with Seattle in 2010 after being waived by Oakland, and played in seven games with the Seahawks. Richardson, who has seven sacks in 55 games, didn't play in the NFL last season.

Maybin, Aaron (LB)
Maybin signed his one-year restricted free agent tender on Monday, as expected, and returned to the team after a breakout season.
The tender was worth $1.26 million, his original first-round draft level. Maybin was a first-round pick of Buffalo, No. 11 overall, in 2009 but struggled to get playing time in two disappointing seasons with the Bills. He was waived last August and signed by the Jets, but cut after training camp ended. New York re-signed him in late-September and Maybin ended up leading the Jets with the first six sacks of his NFL career.

Tebow, Tim (QB)
Tebow says he is "not sure" if he'll ever be a starting quarterback again, and that thought doesn't concern him right now.
The New York Jets' new backup quarterback tells 1050 ESPN Radio on Friday that his only plan is to help his new team win games and "be the best quarterback, best teammate, best football player I can be and just be someone that adds something to that locker room."

Tebow, Tim (QB)
The frenzy over New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has reached shoemakers Nike and Reebok. Nike Inc. claims in a lawsuit that Reebok is using Tebow's name on Jets-related apparel without permission. The lawsuit was filed Wednesday in federal court in Manhattan.
The lawsuit says Reebok International introduced new products with Tebow's name after the quarterback was traded from the Denver Broncos to the Jets. It seeks unspecified damages. The claims include misappropriation of publicity rights, interference with business relationships and unjust enrichment.
