Manning, Eli (QB)
The New York Giants' quarterback will be the host for Saturday Night Live on May 5.
Eli won't be the first Manning to host the show. His brother, Peyton, did it in 2007 and had a very funny "United Way" videotape in which he coached youngsters, hit them with passes in the back and stomach and even banished one to a portable bathroom for 20 minutes.

Molden, Antwaun (CB)
The Giants have signed Molden, a former Patriots defensive back.
Molden was claimed on waivers by the Patriots in September and appeared in all 19 games, making two starts. He had a career-high 28 tackles with two interceptions. He also had 11 special teams tackles in the regular season and seven total in three postseason games.

Rivers, Keith (LB)
The Bengals traded linebacker Keith Rivers to the New York Giants on Thursday for a fifth-round draft pick, ending his four-year stay in Cincinnati marred by frequent injuries.
Rivers missed all last season recovering from surgery on his right wrist. He's been limited to 35 games in four seasons. The Bengals made Rivers the ninth overall pick in the 2008 draft and installed him as a starter. He broke his jaw on a hit by Steelers receiver Hines Ward in the seventh game and missed the rest of his rookie season. He missed time the next two seasons because of calf and foot injuries.

Locklear, Sean (T)
The New York Giants have signed veteran offensive tackle Sean Locklear. The Super Bowl champions announced the move on Wednesday, less than a week before the Giants start their offseason conditioning program. Contract terms were not available.
Locklear has played eight seasons in the NFL, the first seven with Seattle and last year with Washington. The North Carolina State product has started 82 of 105 regular-season games. Locklear started every game for Seattle in 2005, including its loss to Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl. He started four of eight games with Washington last season.

Carr, David (QB)
Carr and the Giants tentatively reached their agreement last week but needed time before announcing it. It is for one year, and $925,000.
Carr was Manning's backup quarterback in 2008 and `09. He played in three games the first season and in six games in 2009 and in those two seasons, he completed 33 of 42 passes (78.6 percent) for 340 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
