Parrish, who joined the Chargers on Tuesday, spent his first seven seasons with the Buffalo Bills, averaging 12 yards on 135 returns, with three touchdowns. Parrish's average since 2005 ranks second in the NFL behind Chicago's Devin Hester (12.9). He had 134 catches for 1,502 yards and seven touchdowns in his Bills career.

Garay, Antonio (DT)
Garay has agreed to a two-year contract to remain with the San Diego Chargers.
Garay started 28 games for San Diego the last two seasons and played in all 32. His 108 tackles, eight sacks, 29 quarterback hits and 19 tackles for loss were by far the most among Chargers defensive linemen in 2010-11.

McMichael, Randy (TE)
McMichael has agreed to a two-year contract to remain with the San Diego Chargers.
The 10-year veteran spent the last two seasons with the Chargers, making 14 starts in 2011 with star tight end Antonio Gates slowed by injuries. McMichael had 30 catches for 271 yards, but did not score a touchdown. McMichael also played on special teams for San Diego.

Bigby, Atari (S)
The Chargers agreed to a two-year contract with Bigby, who had 18 tackles and a sack in 15 games as a reserve for Seattle last season.
Bigby has played in 61 NFL games, starting 27 for Green Bay in 2007-09. The Chargers expect third-year safety Darrell Stuckey to compete with Bigby at strong safety.

Whitehurst, Charlie (QB)
Whitehurst is in and Billy Volek is out as Philip Rivers' backup with the San Diego Chargers. Whitehurst agreed to a two-year contract Friday to return to the Chargers.
