Stokley, Brandon (WR)

Posted April 16, 2012 @ 6:43 p.m.
Stokley is returning to Denver to play with old friend Peyton Manning.
Stokley signed a one-year deal with the Broncos Monday. In June, he'll turn 36, the same age as Manning, whom he played with in Indianapolis from 2003-06. Stokley played with the Seahawks in 2010 and the Giants last year.

Manning, Peyton (QB)

Posted April 16, 2012 @ 12:33 p.m.
Manning is joining his new teammates Monday at the Denver Broncos headquarters for the start of offseason workouts.
The four-time MVP, who signed with Denver after he was cut by the Colts, has been working out with wide receiver Eric Decker over the last month. Manning is not only learning a new playbook in Denver but he's also trying to regain his arm strength following a series of neck operations that sidelined him for all of last season and led to his departure from Indianapolis.

Bannan, Justin (DT)

Posted April 11, 2012 @ 12:46 p.m.
Veteran defensive tackle Justin Bannan is returning to the Denver Broncos. The 11th-year pro signed a free agent contract with his old club Wednesday. Defensive tackle is one of the Broncos' biggest areas of need. They lost Brodrick Bunkley in free agency and Ryan McBean faces a drug suspension to start the 2012 season, although he and linebacker D.J. Williams are suing the league to have their six-game punishments overturned.
Bannan stated all 16 games for the Broncos in 2010, his only year with the team, before signing last year with St. Louis, where he started 14 games, collecting 35 tackles and one sack. Drafted by Buffalo after a standout career at the University of Colorado, Bannan has played in 144 NFL games with the Bills, Ravens, Broncos and Rams.

Hunter, Jason (DE)

Posted March 29, 2012 @ 5:34 p.m.
The Denver Broncos have re-signed Hunter, completing one of their offseason priorities.
The seventh-year pro has played in 92 games for Green Bay, Detroit and Denver, accumulating 128 tackles, 11 sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. Hunter has played in all 32 regular season games and both playoff games for the Broncos since joining the team as a free agent in 2010. He started a dozen games that year while filling in for an injured Elvis Dumervil and recorded 59 tackles.

Hanie, Caleb (QB)

Posted March 24, 2012 @ 9:50 p.m.
A person familiar with the negotiations says the Denver Broncos have signed former Chicago Bears backup quarterback Caleb Hanie to a two-year deal to back up Peyton Manning.
Hanie, 26, who played at Colorado State, spent the last three seasons in Chicago. He replaced an injured Jay Cutler in the NFC championship two years ago and nearly rallied the Bears past the Packers. But he went 0-4 in place of Cutler last season, including at loss at Denver. The Broncos signed Manning on Monday and then dealt Tim Tebow to the New York Jets. They also considered signing free agent Billy Volek.
